I’ve eaten in this restaurant twice now in two weeks. The restaurant and toilets are very clean and the atmosphere is airy and relaxed. The food is amazing, the Nepalese dishes offer great variation too. The food is piping hot, generous and above all delicious. The best I’ve had in the Island bar none. What makes the meal even better is Balash and Anis. They are brilliant. Always smiling and very polite. Their service is exemplary. They are great to talk with and joke with and really do add to the dining experience. See you soon

My wife and I stayed in Sandown for a few nights away and honestly suprised at how many venues/restaurants have closed. I am aware that we are out of season but we were struggling to find somewhere to have dinner. We came across Cardamom Indian restaurant and thought we would give it a go. I ordered the Himalayan lamb shank with chickpeas and rice and my wife a chicken tikka masala plus some sides. Quite simply delicious, fresh and clearly passionate food. Our waiter Anis made us feel welcome and was very attentive. If you're in Sandown and like Indian cuisine look no further....highly recommend.

We have been going to this restaurant regularly for the past few months and have never had a bad meal, experience and the atmosphere is always good. The waiters are always very helpful and go above and beyond to make sure you are happy. A big shout out to palish (hope I spelt it right) who is always super helpful.

Excellent Shaslick piping hot... mains too with side dishes and naan bread made this the best Indian we've had in a long time especially away from home... Well done the staff and kitchen staff... Polite, clean and friendly place... 4 for atmosphere as it was a Monday and based on that it was quiet....

Been coming here regularly over the past year for the amazing food and friendly staff. Unfortunately witnessed a sad scene in which the bad reviews have been left wrongly. The staff were very patient and calm. And it seemed this family was looking for trouble! As they complained over the food portions yet ordered 3 mains for 12 people ! And cleared the plates yet still complained🤔 The staff have always been respectful and kind.and the 2 beautiful girls that work there have always been friendly on the phone and hardworking. Just like the rest of the staff. The business owner always shakes mine and my husbands hands when we leave. Always feel so very welcomed. Saddens me to see these hurtful reviews. Always wishing the staff the best ! And the food always amazing 💗
