Ignore Kimberly Ellis and Amba Swain. A great pub, great staff and great food. We've been going here since Jane and Jago took it over as well as when they run the Hare and Hounds. You won't be disappointed 100% recommended

Delicious Sunday lunch.
Lovely country village pub, lovely interior and large garden overlooking the countryside.
Restaurant is really nice, great menu choices and drinks.

Visited yesterday with friends.
I had the chicken liver parfait for starter which was simply divine and for the main I had the sea bass which was beautifully cooked and accompanied with grilled vegetables.

We went here for an evening meal. The staff were really friendly and service was great. The only downside was we felt the starters were over priced. Three bits of asparagus and an egg £11. It was nice though.

It's run by lovely friendly people. The decor is nice. They have a good selection of wines and beers. The food is very good. I had the Sunday roast which was the best I've had in a long while.

Another fantastic Mother's day meal, great service & (in my opinion) reasonably priced for 3 courses. My only issue would be that I don't normally eat 3 courses, 2 is generally enough for me so it would be nice to be able to have a 2 course option but if I have to eat more than usual, I can't think of a better place to do it!
