Cannot fault this place.
Accommodation was pretty much one of the best I've been in, clean, spacious and with everything you'd need, and not right on top of each other.
Take your time to chat to the staff, from reception/shop, clubhouse/bar, grounds people & cleaners, they were all SO lovely and a real pleasure to interact with.
Gorgeous 'lakes' and nice park layout.

What a fantastic place to stay. We have been to Carlton Meres many times now and have never been disappointed. The check in team are superbly efficient and super friendly. Really feel welcome right from the get go. The team in the bar are so friendly and we just want to return as often as possible. Can't wait for the next time. Thank you so much to all involved.
Lovely little park, small but everything you need to have a lovely time. Caravan for what we paid was lovely and close to all the amenities. Children loved both pools, water inflatables and especially the Segway's which were their highlight. Shout out to Nathan who was really helpful and patient when we were learning to ride them. Would definitely recommend.
Lovely 'caravans'. The arcade could do with some modernising as over 1/3 of machines were off when I went in. The food could be better, but it's more than fine for what it is. The limited times of access for the pool and gym meant I wasn't able to try them, but the indoor pool looked good from outside.
Great location in the middle of nowhere but within easy reach of Saxmundham, Southwold and Aldeburgh.
The caravans are great, always spacious, clean and good value for money. They are great for smaller kids as no stairs inside and lots of space to run around.
The park itself has two big fishing lakes which are lovely and then all the facilities you need: launderette, pool (indoor and outdoor), gym, shop, clubhouse, mini golf and playgrounds.
A weekend away to visit our grandkids. While we didn't make full use of the facilities, what we did use was great. Excellent layout of homes and facilities.
We ate at the clubhouse on Friday and Saturday nights; the food was pretty good but the delivery time to table was slower than expected. It was quite busy so we overlooked this. Because the entertainment area was in the next room it was very loud in the dining room; making it difficult to talk with our children and grandchildren.
Overall, a good getaway space with plenty to keep us busy!
First time in Carlton mere holiday park. 2 well stocked fishing lakes I spent the whole day catching fish spent a few days on site loved it all we will be going back again ideal location for local area visits too
We were pleasantly surprised when we arrived early to be given the key and welcome pack.
Although we were given a map we found it difficult to locate the caravan as so many roads have the same name !
Found the mattress "well worn" but 10/10 to reception quickly offering changing to caravan next door which is very comfortable.
Very pleased to have private parking right outside caravan door !
Enjoying sitting in their clubhouse outdoor eating area with a "free glass of Heineken" . . . good start to our holiday.
8 of us are just back from a fishing holiday at carlton meres Saxmundham. All 3 caravans were spotless and spacious. All staff including reception, restaurant, entertainment, maintenance, bailiffs and cleaners were friendly, helpful and very pleasant. We didn't meet any unhappy staff at all. There were 3 who were exceptional. These were Wayne on gardening I think who helped me find some fishing gear I lost. Also Tony and Alan who were bailiffs round the lakes. They were so helpful to our 2 grand children who were with us and to us giving us tips how to fish the lakes. Whoever recruits all the staff...Well done...you have a great crew there and we will be returning very soon thank you š
Everything was pretty much perfect apart from the heating having set times. Considering that we stayed in May, we would go to bed already with the heating turned off by default and waking up with a really chilly caravan in the morning because the heating wouldnāt start earlier than around 7:30am regardless of turning it on or off. Anyway, it is an amazing holiday Park and we will definitely return and recommend it.
