Lovely food and very generous portions. Reasonably priced, too. The staff was great and very helpful when I accidentally left my retainers on the table and they were binned. Would definitely recommend.

Great place, but please sort out your lighting electrics. Hide the cables in the walls, some of the cables look worn and the connections don't look great. Also starter portions are too small for the price.

Visited for breakfast on a Sunday morning. Arrived after 10am and luckily there were free tables.
The restaurant tab were all very friendly and efficient with our orders taken in good time.
I ordered the greedy grumpy full breakfast, which was great, everything well cooked and a massive slab of black pudding, fantastic bacon, decent sausage, even the tomato was cooked well, a rarity in most breakfasts! The only thing I’d improve is to make the black pudding more spicy. 🫚🌶️

Easily one of the best breakfasts I have had in Sussex not necessarily the biggest meal on first inspection but actually just right by the time we had eaten it All. however the Ingredients were top quality and cooked really well.and to be fair very good value for money considering the quality of the food.

If the Grumpy Chef prepared such incredible food, I can only imagine the culinary delights the Happy Chef would create. To be honest, the food was simply amazing. We ordered a burger and a chicken breast, and both dishes were exceptional. The staff were also exceptionally friendly, and the ambience added to the overall enjoyment of our dining experience.

We had a tasty brunch on a quiet Sunday morning. Staff were attentive and nice and the breakfast food was delicious, I had the full greedy options with really did the trick! Others had an egg royale that was also good. Coffees were good quality too.

Really nice avocado and toast, we asked the waiter and it was made vegan for us which was fab!
Warning: A lot of people got turned away as it was quite busy and some tables had been reserved.

Food was cooked well, flavourful and fresh…Varied menu, Friendly staff, food portions were generous, kid-friendly, reasonably priced, bathroom was very clean. Overall, a great experience. Highly recommend!
