Took Mum out for Easter 2024, refurbished recently? I love shish and everyone had those- Lamb , good quality cuts with rise. Prompt table service by Ali, drinks were reasonable and big helpings of meat - am not a big eater so no desserts 😊 well recommended but quite far from town . Very expansive dining hall so good for events booking too ! All on the flat so wheelchair access good also 🤗

Just called in after passing many times. Very welcoming and fantastic food. We tried the hot Mezze sharing platter and the fried scollop salad. You must try this restaurant - well worth the travel.

We stayed here and very good use of space very nicely done nice big bed nice bathroom very nicely designed owner was very friendly and helpful we arrived late after work and agreed to cook for us very much appreciated and not rushed at all properly cooked everything fresh can not fault the place you can tell when a owner takes pride in business and try best to keep everyone happy we will be staying here reguler from now on best place in area fir those that say expensive food you pay for what you get fresh food not fast food

We called into The Comus to have birthday lunch with my sister in law. We were so impressed with every part of our afternoon here. The service and atmosphere was very relaxed, a perfect celebration for us all. The food was so tasty and made from all fresh ingredients. I had a starter of scallops which was absolutely delicious followed by a Turkish lamb stew, all were so tasty with lots of tender succulent lamb and veggies in the most flavoursome sauce served with bulgar wheat and salad. The service could not have been better. We were all very impressed. The birthday girl enjoyed her afternoon here and we will all be back. Thank you to the Comus, a great place to eat

We did everything at one venue, met for pre- dinner drinks, dined and stayed overnight in one of the six rooms that are available. Traditional pub, friendly service, Sports TV available, rugby on as we arrived, pool table available also. Family and I had some drinks in quieter area not far from the fire.
The restaurant is Turkish fare and we was really enjoyable and authentic. We paid £30 pr head, 2 courses, 1 drink each. The room overnight was clean, short on space but ideal for a convenient overnight stay and reasonably priced.

Delightful afternoon, with very accomodating and thoughtful service. We were part of a bigger party and only took pics of our food. The food looked and tasted great, we will definitely be back!

Had a shared meat platter which was enough for 3-4 people. Very yummy food. Friendly, approachable staff and definitely dog friendly. Other patrons were friendly too. Gluten free options were available. We’ll be back.

Lovely staff, great service and good food. Except one starter. The prawns had full cloves of uncooked garlic in it.
Massive flatbreads for the table were delicious. The mixed meze starter was great.
Only thing that really let it down was how cold it was, but it was very cold outside and it was earlyish on a Friday night.

Went to the updated Comus Inn for a family meal to try out the new Turkish menu in September 2023. Would highly recommend. Restaurant is a separate area from the bar and nicely decorated. Staff were all super friendly and attentive, food was very tasty with good portion size and plenty of menu choice. Good beer choices and the usual spirits and soft drinks too. There is a play area for children outside, plenty of off road parking. When we ate the large room was about 70% full and the noise was OK, but I can imagine when it's full or if there are large tables for a party it could be a bit noisy. As a local we will definitely be eating here again.

Can't fault it. Comfy massive bed. Big telly. Lovely smell from the food but never ate there. Great for kids . Looking forward to staying again.
