Beautiful little place with great staff and wonderful food.
Excellent value for money on the food, made even better by warm and welcoming staff. If you haven't been yet I strongly recommend giving it a go. The new owner Jade is doing a super job.

Can't fault it. Comfy massive bed. Big telly. Lovely smell from the food but never ate there. Great for kids . Looking forward to staying again.
Went to the updated Comus Inn for a family meal to try out the new Turkish menu in September 2023. Would highly recommend. Restaurant is a separate area from the bar and nicely decorated. Staff were all super friendly and attentive, food was very tasty with good portion size and plenty of menu choice. Good beer choices and the usual spirits and soft drinks too. There is a play area for children outside, plenty of off road parking. When we ate the large room was about 70% full and the noise was OK, but I can imagine when it's full or if there are large tables for a party it could be a bit noisy. As a local we will definitely be eating here again.
Were looking for a quick bite to eat and stopped here. Friendly staff and the food was great. We had kebabs, wraps and hummus and it was lovely... fresh and tasty, all clearly cooked to order.
Nice beer garden and kids play area out back.

Not many people in when we visited but, we were early. Food was fabulous, had to take my main course home. Very big portions. Staff very attentive. Will go back definitely 😁 thankyou

My stay was a delight. On arrival our room was not quite ready so we were offered complimentary drinks whilst we waited. The room was a little smaller than I expected but did have a huge comfy bed which is all I had hoped for.
The room also had a dressing table, mirror, night stand, kettle, tea and coffee supplies but no milk so bring your own if required.
There were also no bin bags for rubbish so once again~bring your own!
The room we stayed in ( room 5 ) also had ample plug sockets ( 3 double ) so no having to bring extention leads ect.
There is also a small en-suite shower with toilet.
I would definitely stay here again but on a lower level due to having a disabled friend with me and a dog ( our room was up one set of metal stairs which was about 15 steps).
There is also a nice sized tv with access to Netflix ect if you have an account.
As this is an honest review... some people may be bothered by the sound of the traffic passing by, It can be abit noisy but that never bothered me.
On the whole. Clean, comfy and lovely and warm.

We stayed over for one night, like a modern Butlins chalet, one double en suite room, massive TV and bed, very warm . Clean, comfortable. Right on the main road and next to the pub so a bit noisy, but reasonably priced and friendly. Had a nice Turkish meal in the pub restaurant where there was a BBQ and music and good play area for kids . Very happy

Service was excellent, food delicious.

Second visit in a week to sample the food. The menu choices have grown and is now a good mix of Italian and authentic Turkish. Excellent food both times, Turkish meze and the calamari was exceptional served with the freshest bread straight from the hot plate. Would thoroughly recommend you visit, you won't be disappointed
Absolutely fabulous ...the food great...all the staff were. Helpful..friendly..service with a smile...and that makes the atmosphere..we will go back..for another meal ..thank you all at the Comus Inn.
