The play area is perfect for my little one and the food is amazing, however they did run out of certain foods on the Sunday carvery. But all together good.

The carvery here is one of the best I've had in a long time. With the location it doesn't get too packed out, the staff were every helpful and the service was timely. There is an indoor and outdoor play area for young children. Will definitely be going here again

Great service and nice rooms. Also the food at the restaurant was pretty good excepting for one little thing that is the coffee that they serve for breakfast wich is probably one of the worst that I have ever tasted in my life. Anyway I give them 5 stars cause that's just a little issue that I hope they solve by the time someone reads this.

1st time I've stayed here. Everyone I met was so friendly, a special mention to Charlotte who took my breakfast order. She was really nice. Bed comfy room nice and clean. Yes I will stay again.

Local to my family and we often use it. Good access for parking, big kids play area , have not stayed overnight. Food is big helpings, we had Gammon and chips , pizza and chicken. Well cooked and clean tables / cutlery, to the table was about 10 minutes. Good wheelchair access and staff are helpful . Prices are reasonable for the area and although a bit dated decor definitely a good family stop on your travel ( but those demanding a posh eat out - is not for you ) . Recommended.

Had dinner here. All the staff seemed to have a stick stuck in their butt except 1 exceptionally sweet girl. And we waited over an hour for our food but it tasted pretty good.

The place really needs 2 separate reviews. One for the hotel and one for the restaurant. The hotel is okay. A bit tired in carpet and furnishing and, as one could expect for the price, no air con. A desk fan to keep it cool during the muggy June nights. The bed is comfy and everything else in the room is just functional. I wasn't comfortable leaving the windows open during my absence from the room as they open to some kind of a flat roof. One could, technically, get from a window onto the roof and then into someone else's room. Please do note that mobile reception in that area is next to zero and the hotel's WiFi is a bit below standard. Hotel staff were all very friendly and helpful, lovely people. The restaurant is nice and each member of staff there was exceptional. I stayed for two consecutive weeks for work and was at all times served with a smile. The food is good and prices are more than reasonable. I was especially impressed with their pizza, the big bird burger and their turkey roast. The deserts are delicious. On my last evening the staff recommended the salted caramel chocolate cake. I have never had salted caramel in my life as it has always seemed like an oxymoron to me but it was amazing. The breakfast menu was simple and could do with some sliced cheese (hint), Loved the mushrooms though. All by all a pleasant experience: great staff, a comfortable bed to sleep in and good food. A 5 star experience in a 3 star hotel; therefor, 4 stars.

I would give this 5 stars but our only let down was the restaurant didn't have half the items on the menu. Otherwise great value for money, easy check in, clean rooms.

My first visit here, stopped off on the way back home with two children. They loved the softplay and the outdoor play area. We had food here, service was good, food was very nice and a good selection too. Would definitely go back again.

Somewhat disappointed. Keep going for a meal only to find that there are only 7 disabled parking bays . Of which once again today only 2 were occupied by disabled people and the other 5 occupied by staff and parents n children. Had to watch truly disabled people struggle across from the empty car park to access the building. It’s not some days it’s every time I visit. Some customers/staff have no thought for others, just themselves. Yes I’ve mentioned it to duty managers but as they don’t monitor the car park it’s pot luck if your disabled and need a disabled bay.
