Wild Fork West

We first came across Wild For West when they catered a wedding I had worked on and I was blown away by the very high quality of food they produced. We subsequently have booked Wild Fork West for an annual wedding industry retreat twice now. I don’t think we would even consider anyone else! The food is of course absolutely exquisite, but what makes it is the overall service. Michael runs a slick team who are always one step ahead of the game. At this year’s retreat, we had a large number of dietaries to accommodate, and this didn’t seem to faze Michael & his team in the least. The menus were divine and made all the better for all our guests being able to enjoy their food without worry. If you love top quality, locally sourced food and you are planning a wedding or event, I cannot recommend Wild Fork West highly enough.

Just a quick note to say a huge thank you to the team. Duncan’s calm and relaxed manner ensured a stress-free build-up to the birthday celebrations, and the team worked so well together to create a magical evening. Duncan took such care with the bar area and serving of cocktails, as well as dealing with a schedule which went awry on many occasions…! The clients were delighted with the evening, and I think we are all still recovering…which is the sign of a good party. We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend you.

We wanted to share our thanks and gratitude with you and your team for delivering an unexceptional menu for our wedding day recently. Having Coeliac Disease can be a challenge in itself but upon first meeting Andrew for a sample menu tasting, he filled me with ease on what he could deliver for our wedding. Our Gluten Free Afternoon Tea was purely devine and everything we wanted it to be. The Hog Roast was the icing on the cake. So many people had commented on how yummy and delicious the food was and none of them knew it was Gluten Free either. The staff on the day could not have been any more attentive and genuine, they were a real delight to have included in our special day so please pass on our thanks to them. Planning a wedding is meant to be a stressful time. However, I found it the most relaxing as I put 100% trust in those we chose to deliver important elements of our day - and food is very high on that list. A huge thank you goes to you and your team for contributing to our wedding being the most memorable and enjoyable experience to date. We wish you all the best for the future.

What a team!! The food was absolutely incredible and all our guests said the same. The steak was cooked to perfection and THOSE CHIPS! It was the perfect non wedding wedding dinner, you guys smashed it and I expected nothing less. The whole team were extremely attentive to Jake and I, and all our guests, no ask was too much. So thank you for making our day a dream come true. Cannot recommend Wild Fork West enough, and I hope we get to enjoy their food again soon!

We used Wild Fork West for our wedding celebration in Bath in July 2023. They were fantastic - didnt miss a beat, dealt with last minute requests amazingly, and the drinks and bar service was also top notch. Genuinely couldn’t have asked for anything more. We had the absolute best wedding day, thank you so much to Wild Fork West!! All the lovely staff made it so perfect. The waiting staff and bar staff were all amazing - so friendly and attentive. So many guest commented on how lovely the staff were. And the food was also great - obviously! Evening fish finger butties were a godsend - absolutely brilliant. Can’t recommend highly enough!

We hired Wild Fork West for our wedding and they were absolutely incredible. Professional, communicative, outstanding service and delicious local ingredients. They worked closely with us to make a menu that satisfied all of our guests and presented everything beautifully. The evening Mac n Cheese station was a huge hit and many of our friends and family commented that it was the best wedding food they've ever had! Michael and the Wild Fork West team catered our wedding in August 2022 and it was absolutely incredible. Although biased as the groom, I can still honestly say it was the best food i’ve ever had at a wedding and our guests agreed! Everything was plated like a Michelin star restaurant and the quality of all the ingredients was top notch - I was genuinely blown away on the day. Michael’s staff were also fantastic - very friendly and professional. The cocktails were also perfect and Michael’s team went above and beyond adding unique touches like a little paper plane to each of our specialty Paper Plane cocktails. Lastly, the process from start to finish with Michael and team was excellent. After speaking to other caterers in our planning process, what stuck out to my wife and I is with Michael he really listened to us and all of our desires were captured in the package he provided us. Other caterers we spoke to tried to force their own preferences on us but Michael really listened and worked to ensure we were extremely happy with the end result. Oh and the tasting dinner we had was one of the best experiences in the process - such a fun time with Michael and his team. In summary, I cannot recommend Wild Fork West enough - they are brilliant at their craft and you will not be disappointed!

Michael catered my husbands 60th birthday. All I can say is that it was one of the best meals I have EVER had. The journey from planning in uncertain times to the execution of the evening was flawless. A lot of guidance , I was listened to regarding the desire to incorporate my husbands favourite elements... then the evening came. Flawless, exquisite.... an endless array of words such as this I would use to describe the experience. This is a number definitely on my favourites list....
