Had a sitty-inner to refuel after the Three Peaks.
Genuinely one of the best chippys I’ve had - the batter on the fish was so light and crispy with some nice crispy ends. Perfect batter.
Tasty curry sauce, good chips.
Only thing that could be better was the bread (would like butter over margarine) and if the condiments were a bit better quality - homemade tartare maybe? The cheap tartare doesn’t go with the excellent fish.

By and large this place hss cracked it! The bstter is feally goof and the fish is lively and white. The girls in the cafe are very capable and cheerful and most importantly everywhere is clean. They must be good as at the eeekend there are long queues down the road!

Popped in for chips and curry sauce whilst we were passing. The chips were excellent, and the curry sauce was the nicest chip shop curry sauce we've ever tasted! Thanks

Went here today and really enjoyed the food. The fish was thick, white and flaky, the chips were very nice with no grease whatsoever. The mushy peas were as good as I've had anywhere else.
The wait for the food was over 30 minutes but acceptable as a new girl was being trained. The staff were very polite and friendly. Would I go again? Yes of course I would. We had two very tasty meals,both filling,well cooked and good value for money.

Some of the best fish and chips I've ever had. All very fresh, haddock was tasty and cooked perfectly. The chips were crispy and the smaller portions were a perfect size. Service was bespoke, according to our needs, polite and chatty. I would definitely recommend paying a visit to eat in or to take away. 5 stars all round.

Superb quality fish and chips. Both the fish and chips were cooked to perfection in lovely beef dripping. This is a quality establishment that your more than happy to pay for. Highly recommend. Ps I am an ex fish and chip shop owner, so I know good fish and chips when I have them 😊

So I'm living temporarily in Settle and was fortunate to find this place. As I told the server, I was brought up on the seaside and this fish and chips is the best I have tried. Not greasy at all and fresh tasting. Not cheap but not expensive either. Very friendly people also. If you like fish and chips you will love this place. A reason you often find people queuing outside in the rain to get it.
