It's a nice place for coffee and cake...very relaxed atmosphere....with a good view of the bustling market stalls outside.

First time in there . A bit more unique than the chain coffee outlets . Coffee , tea , and food all look to be of good quality.

We stopped off at Malabar after a walk around Knowle Park and then had a walk into the town. We liked the look of the Malabar and went in for some lunch. The staff were were friendly and attentive and the food was prepared quickly. The coffee house is pretty small and certainly when we were there was very crowded. There's plenty of seats outside too, and in the the warmers months I imagine will be lovely to sit outside. Would recommend.

Great place for a snack or some lunch, food and drinks are great and the staff are very nice. Left a baby cup there last week and they handed it back to me today. 👍👍

Cafe in the 'heart' of Sevenoaks, lots of seating space outside as well...decent coffee, pastries and sandwiches on offer...freshly made, served by friendly staff.

We stopped at Malabar for a small lunch. We had the ham and cheese croissants, and a latte & iced latte. The ham and cheese croissants were lovely and the coffees were quite nice too. The regular latte was a little on the small side though. It is small and cosy inside. I notice they sell their own coffee and have a great selection of quality teas as well. We enjoyed our visit ☺️

Actually haven’t been here yet, just doing some research on coffee options. As someone who trains baristas, Alexander May has absolutely no idea what he’s on about. I just couldn’t go idly by watching someone give 1 star to a place saying what he’s just said 😅😅😅 no barista with any skill needs a thermometer, they can tell within 2-3 degrees how hot it is by their hand/how long they’re texturing the milk & the size of the jug. This isn’t Starbucks Alexander… I assume it wasn’t hot enough for you because you want a coffee at 9000 degrees Celsius? Coffee is meant to be 60-65 degrees. Stick to drinking tea pal!
