Best breakfast in Sheffield by a country mile. Fresh cooked great ingredients. Great service really rate it. I will be back when I’m back in Sheffield again that’s for sure.

We come for breakfast regularly and are always happy with the food. Sometimes we need to wait for service but I get they are busy so I would still happily recommend the place. Ensure you come in early or book in advance as it’s usually busy there

This has to be one of the best places I have ever been for food. First off, the atmosphere was incredible. I was greeted so warmly and friendly and given a spot downstairs. The entire time I was there (Over an hour as they were so welcoming and hospitable) I witnessed every single person who came in, sat down, served, being given amazing friendly sevice. It seem to come natural to the guys working here as well, nothing was forced or too much trouble for anyone. Throughout my lunch, I was speaking to the staff and asked for help with place to visit in Sheffield, what to do etc. They listened and chatted to me which was such friendly service and went a long way. Anyway, food. As I sat down, I was brought over water (which was replaced/topped up across my whole visit) I ordered the 'Ole' but asked for potatoes in it as well, which of course they told me wasn't a problem. I also ordered an aperol spritz. The food came out, in a big skillet and look amazing. It was so hot, I was also warned to not touch the skillet as it was red hot, so I dipped the bread in to begin with and oh my gosh it was possible one of the nicest things I've ever eaten. The chorizo, mozzerella, beans and cream all mixed together to create a fantastic fusion of flavour and spice. The egg on the top was such a bonus and really complemented the food. The bread was a big door stop piece, that was ridiculously soft and delicious. I can not recommend this place, the food, the atmosphere and lastly the staff higher. I even got the rest of my meal to take away so will be finishing it for dinner.

Friendly staff supreme food and service. The colour tone of the cafe is green. The atmospheric feeling is cosy and comfortable. Location is close to train station and coach station, easy to access. Recommended all day full breakfast, large portion for hungry boyfriend. Toast with avocado and poached egg is also good, but personally i don't like hollandaise sauce. Bacon is excellent and worth adding on to the dishes. I haven't tried Andy Hash this time, so I will try next time. I am not sure about Bagel because I think the sauce or the water from avocado always makes the bottom of the begal to be soggy and hard to chew like paper. I think toast is better with avocado. The substitute of cream cheese in Bagel sandwiches should be with something less watery, such as hummus or sesame sauce. I would try peanut butter with some honey glazed apple slices. Overall good quality and reasonable price.

Very great protein and fresh ingredients, both veg and meat pan dish has a variety of ingredients, and I love my tomato based chorizo one. Quick sitting and meal preparation, the stuffs are very friendly and chatty. I enjoy the chill and cosy environment very much, where you can catch up with friends and a great start of Sunday.

The BEST coffee shop in Sheffield! A little hidden Gem riot next to Sheffield Hallam University. The place to go to for freshly cooked stunning food. Staff are amazing very polite and professional in what they do. Been going there almost 8 years as a regular customer and still am every week. Honestly you won’t be surprised of how great the place is.

Had a short stay in Sheffield, so was looking for somewhere for breakfast before my journey back. A lot of places were busy so I took a chance with Howst. I was lucky to get there when I did as about 5mins after, there were queues. Staff friendly and knowledgeable - particularly around allergens (not me but I overheard the discussion on the adjacent table). Food took a while to arrive but I had a decent coffee beforehand. Luckily it was a nice day, so sitting in the shade was just great. I couldn’t fault the food. Would visit again if I were back in Sheffield.

Lovely spot and great food! Felt very welcomed as a traveller from Brisbane. Got my English Breakfast fix and was not disappointed.

A short wait outside (they have outdoor seating) at this busy establishment. We were shown upstairs to our table, water provided. Ordered a couple of 'Andy Hash' which were excellent, the egg was cooked to perfection, good bread, and butter. There is a note on the menu regarding a discretionary service charge, which I don't agree with, this wasn't added to our bill therefore the impeccable service was rewarded accordingly. Highly recommended.
