We stayed the night in a beautiful room. We had the duck skewers which i would highly recommend. The service was really good. Only downside was the breakfast. I would have expected a few more options on the continental breakfast and the cooked breakfast (not included in the price of the room) was not great. My husbands egg were like rubber! i would still go back though. They also gave us 20% of all our food bills as we were staying, which was an added bonus
Eat here often and recently hosted a party here in a private dining room. Excellent buffet loaaaaads of food all of great quality! Friendly staff couldn't do enough for us, will definitely use their private dining rooms again. Only constructive criticism would be that the stools and tables in the laid back/bar area are too high. We have kids and used to come weekly, now not as much as the low seating is around small tables X
Really lovely and fancy restaurant and hotel. I have gone quite a few times, the service is always good and the food is nice. It's good for social and work events, as well as if your family has come to stay. I went with work recently, and the customer service was amazing. You can reserve a meeting room, and they are flexible around you if you need to pop out and come back. I would say prices are quite high, which is a bit off-putting. Other than that, really nice.
Fantastic food in a relaxed ambience. Great quality. Good choice on the menu, plus roasts on Sundays.

Had a lovely roast dinner here on Sunday. The vegetarian roast was particularly nice and everyone in the group thoroughly enjoyed theirs too - we were impressed. Service was quick and helpful, the atmosphere was less impressive as it was quite quiet but such a large place so felt very empty. Would return though as food was great.
Really lovely Sunday lunch today. We were a party of 12 and felt really well looked after by everyone. No complaints with the food, it was all very tasty!
Really impressed with the service and food at The Florentine on our 1st ever visit. We had the 3 course Mother's Day menu. Both the starters and the desserts were flawless, especially the tiramisu baked alaska. Main courses were great, but I think we felt you could leave off the salad leaves and mangetout, and instead give a lot more gravy! Saying that, the meats were cooked really well and the portion sizes were good. Would definitely recommend and return ☺️
Cool interior, lovely set up. Really friendly and attentive staff, plenty of space btwn tables but filled up, with a nice atmosphere. Best if all, amazing food. My wife and I were really genuinely impressed with the whole visit and will be back with family soon👍🏼
Wait staff was friendly and helpful and very tolerant (we're Americans). Food was delicious across the board including steaks, pizza and tiramisu. Definitely will come back now that we've moved to Sheffield.
We only popped in for a drink so can't comment on the food but the pizzas coming out looked amazing and smelt good too. This is a huge old building with some great features. Set in its own grounds but on the main road. The outdoor seating was popular in the warm evening sun too.
Sunday dinner was generous, tasty and perfectly cooked. The ambience and surroundings were comfortable. Overall a nice experience and a relaxing afternoon.
Fantastic atmosphere and the food was was delicious. Massive thank you to the head chef who recommended some great dishes. Surprisingly funny as well… although id definitely stick to cooking!
