First visit last week and recently moved to the area - as reviews were so good I thought I would try it and I wasn't disappointed. The tastiest fish I've had in ages. I got a mini fish and chips with sauce meal which was good value at £6.50. fresh tasty succulent fish with the right amount of batter cooked to perfection, decent chips and very good curry sauce Which came in a separate pot 🙂. Friendly helpful staff. There was a queue when I got there which is always a good sign but I didn't have to wait very long at all (less than 5 minutes). Worth mentioning that they don't accept card payments for under £10 so you will need to get cash first (there is a cash withdrawal service at the post office counter across the road in Morrisons local however I believe that closes at 5: 30pm so if it's evening you'll have to have the cash in advance or the next nearest cash machine will be Tesco express). Definitely recommend a fish and chips here
Wonderful portion sizes, friendly staff and much much more affordable than other village alternatives. I can see why it’s always jammed. £3.80 for a large battered sausage and chips, it filled my plate!

I'm not being dramatic when I say that the fish and chips at Georgio's are the best I've ever had.
Not only is the fish itself beautifully white and delicious, but the chips are absolutely top tier (in my opinion, the chips can make or break it!). It also helps that the staff at Georgio's are the loveliest people too.
If you love fish and chips, want to support local business, or just want to eat the best of the best, then you MUST go to Georgio's.
Best fish and chips we’ve had. Keep trying to find better when away on hols but none compare as yet. Even Rick Steins in Cornwall didn’t have a patch on here
Had to queue for a bit but we'll worth the wait. The fish was cooked to order, plenty of chips and nice curry sauce all well wrapped up so it was all still hot when I got home
The best chippy in the area
We were assured it's the best Fish & Chip Shop for 20 miles. I suspect that's an underestimate by a pleasantly parochial person. Everything is freshly prepared while you're in a convivial queue. No pickled eggs though - they're virtual distractions. I have yet to inquire about the putative pickled onions. Frequent future research is eagerly anticipated.
THE BEST fish and chips we have ever eaten! Meaty flakey fish in crispy light batter, not greasy. Great chips and chip shop curry sauce as an incredible extra. Can't believe I am writing a review for fish and chips but they were incredible. Thank you so much 🤯🌟
I've visited before, many times and the food is delicious, very well prepared and the service is faultless, tonight's visit however was a different...I don't wish to be inappropriate but tonights visit was made more memorable by an Incredibly friendly and attractive female member of staff. Highly recommended.
Genuinely the best chippy around the Rotherham/Worksop area. Always damn fine food and perfect chips.
