We always eat/shop local when we travel. We went here for breakfast and ohhhhhemmmmgeeee! The food was hot and delicious. I cannot even say enough about the service. Everyone was so sweet and funny and our food was brought out very quickly. Definitely will go back!

A GREAT SMALL HOMETOWN FAMILY LOCALLY OWNED AND OPERATED RESTAURANT ! THEY ARE EXTREMELY FRIENDLY AND THEY TREAT EVERY SINGLE CUSTOMER LIKE THEY ARE CLOSE FRIENDS AND FAMILY NO MATTER IF FIRST TIME VISITORS, OR AN EVERYDAY CUSTOMER. The boxcar cafe is an awesome restaurant. Make sure that you have an appetite because you are going to get a lot of food. The food is very affordable for the amount that you get. You will not be disappointed just make sure that you take cash. The restaurant is cash only. If you are in the Sheffield area definitely check out boxcar cafe. The staff is very friendly and you will leave full but ready to come back.

Wow! I'm from out of town and love to find small, local places to eat. Home run with Boxcar cafe! Great, home cooked food and good prices. The ladies there are awesome! A good, hometown place for breakfast or lunch. Cash only BTW.
