Coldwater Cafe

I love the building, it's so quaint but thats the best I can say about my experience. I ordered the patty melt with fried potatoes. I wish I'd known mayo came on it automatically. A patty melt comes normally with meat onion cheese and rye bread...the fried potatoes were awful. Some were cooked, most were raw..the "patty melt" is actually just a burger on Texas toast...my husband got the same, fries instead, but those were soggy and unedited. Totally not worth the 17 bucks we spent. Our first experience here will be our last. The lady that waited on us was quite rude and not helpful at all...the older gentleman seemed very nice and pleasant....just not the best place for us at all.

Food was pretty good, but almost couldn’t enjoy it because service was so bad. Cashier was extremely rude. Did not greet customers at all and was trying to do 3 things at once. Seemed to be overworked and that’s probably not her fault, but it doesn’t feel good as a customer when you are standing in line to wait that long and you have a line of people behind you thinking the same thing. Nobody ever asked us if we needed anything. I probably won’t be back because the food can be excellent, but poor service leaves a bad taste in your mouth.

I've been here a few times & Everytime I come thru the drive thru, the people taking the order & at the window are curt. They act like it's an inconvenience to them to be there & to be taking your order. If you ask for extra sauces, they rarely give you any. Good food but customer service is lacking.
