Such a popular place that you need to book, especially for Sunday lunch, weeks in advance. Massive portions. Sunday roast is delicious. Staff very attentive and friendly.

Omg! We spent the night away from London and then decided to treat ourselves to Sunday Roast before we were meant to take the train back. Best decision of our lives! Roast was the best we've ever had, we tried the pork belly and it was stunningly delicious, potatoes cooked to perfection (which many placed this days miss), the vegetables quantity was abundant and the meat was.. No words for it, delicious! Would definitely recoment, cozy typical pub and friendly welcoming staff. We managed to snag a table but do consider booking as otherwise you might miss it!!

Classic Sunday roast. They could do with some more staff to get the drinks out quicker. The food was excellent -exactly what I was expecting

Unpretentious pub, a little off the beaten track. Don't let that put you off. It's worth seeking out. We were there on a midweek afternoon, and was very impressed with this establishment. The barman Dave , deserves special mention, treating myself and my Autistic son with dignity and respect. The beer was tip top and the food excellent . Very resonable prices for this neck of the woods. Well worth a visit.
