I only stopped for a sandwich then realised there was a garden. I was lucky as I have RHS membership but I think previous reviews have completely misjudged this garden. Yes it’s small, but the perimeter walk under the viaduct and along the waters edge is beautiful and dramatic.
The gardens are immaculately groomed and for me the mood is immersive, it’s not a race, sit and enjoy a sandwich and listen to the waters that runs through the garden. Take time to stop and look it’s a lovely calming space.
One of the best kept public gardens I've seen in a long time. Many natural features incorporated, and a wide range of plants. Nice to have its history available too
Update
Kilver Court Gardens.
Under new management for both the Gardens and outlet shops.
Owned now by the Showering family well know for Babycham & bothers cider
This small garden hosts a pond(large), ducks, stumpery, a GWR viaduct (that in is self is worth the visit) and we'll land out Gardens
The cafe is a new, currently limited selection but served with a smile.
the small nursery is now just a small collection of plants.

Will be back during October to see if the outlet shops are back and what other changes have been made.
