Super little family shop / coffee shop. With nearly everything organic, gluten free and vegan. But its not rammed down your throat as being the only way to live. The owners live that way and invite you to join them.
Other customers are sitting around and talking to everyone including us (tourists). Very friendly, if you want to meet local people, then this is the place to go.

Not Normal, small business owner run. Make own cakes, normally vegan, but sometimes not. You need to be comfortable talking to other customers or very comfortable in yourself otherwise it can be intimidating. Owner can appear to hard sell you stuff, it's not done in a nasty way but you need to be able to assert yourself. All that aside it's a very special place which for the right type of person they will feel very at home. It's a business that is not trying to be like other coffee shops, it's independent and unusual.

What a great find! Great drinks and snacks, and a friendly, quirky ambience. Sure to become a favourite of mine for a mid-ride refuelling stop. I can't remember what was in the superfood smoothie but it must have been good as I rode home like the clappers!

Where everything is for sale (except Gunther).
Difficult to know where to start. Other than to say this place is SPECIAL. In the nicest of ways.
When you enter this night really sure what it is. Food shop, bits and bobs, coffee shop, cinema! . Suffice to say, it's all four and possibly more. Yes, I did say cinema. It's good enough to get the founder of Glastonbury to partake.
The welcome was wonderful. Lots of friendly banter. We were then Karenized! Only way to describe it really 😃.
A great experience. Beware, she's a cannie sales person too.
It's a small and intimate space. Shepton Mallet needs more of this. And I'm certain with such great, enthusiastic people in the driving seat that more will come.
We'll be back.

It has to be one of the quirkiest coffee shops going! It's more like going into somebody's front room and you usually find yourself interacting with the whole shop.
First class coffee and delicious, wholesome food with cakes to die for!
Thoroughly recommended!

I love My Coffee Stop because Karen and Gunter welcome you in and make you feel so at home! But be warned don't miss your train!...the atmosphere is so cosy you might just want to stay. Only joking, Gunter is the fastest Barista in town and can get your latte frothed in 30 seconds! Faster than a runaway train...zooom!!!!! Highly recommended.

This coffee shop beats with a heart of gold. Gunter is the faster barista in the business so don't worry that hour train is on its way he can make the most delicious fairtrade coffee in a blink! Karen is so friendly and welcoming and on the days she's baking you can get freeby samples xx
