Visiting Sherborne with friends we thought we'd try lunch at The Green. We were not disappointed. We all went for 3 courses and all decided, we would definitely come back again.

1st time we have tried The Green and we will definitely be back, in fact we booked for November before leaving. The food was very good, well seasoned and beautifully presented, bravo. Myself and my Husband have been wanting to try here for a long time and it didn’t disappoint, the food was exquisite and at a reasonable price too. We had the fillet of beef which was cooked to perfection .The service was also fantastic, the chef made an appearance too which was lovely. You can tell the whole place has a passion for food, we will definitely be returning soon. The best meal i’ve had in a very long time, thank you !

Went here for a birthday dinner and it was absolutely fantastic. All staff were excellent, but especially Tom who served us. The food was incredible, cooked excellently and presentation was beautiful. I was sad to leave!

I now need to go through all my restaurant reviews and downgrade them a star, because I can't award 6 stars to The Green.
The restaurant was near full at 7pm, service was being run by 2 of the most professional waitresses I've seen in the UK.
But then the food, it was totally exceptional, leaving all other provincial country restaurants in the dust....course after course, all totally perfect.

Lovely restaurant. Really great value menu at £30 for three courses when we visited. Quality of the food is really good. Service was really great and friendly. Ambiance really great too. Definitely worth a visit if you are in the area!
