Found this completely by chance as we only popped in for a drink but stayed for food.. tapas style Italian dishes eaten outside in the Italian style courtyard complete with Olive trees.. fantastic food, excellent service and a VERY good gin bar. Highly recommend and we will definitely be back!

Stayed at The Plume with friends. Great, luxurious rooms at a very reasonable rate.
Unfortunately the restaurant was closed during our visit, so didn’t manage to try their food. However the breakfast was delicious and on our second day eat in the courtyard, which is beautiful.
We would thoroughly recommend The Plume, a great find in a charming town.

A group of 4 great friends and their 3 dogs were seated in the most beautiful garden to have the most amazing meal. The food was exceptional, the ambience fantastic and the servers went above and beyond . We had such a great experience and we will definitely be back.
I had lunch with a friend, having found The Plume online and was really impressed. The 'small plates' Italian food was excellent as was the service with lovely friendly staff. I would highly recommend and will definitely be visiting again!
The Italian tapas was delicious and five dishes between the two of us was just right. Lots of choices on the menu and excellent friendly service. We will certainly return next time we visit Sherborne.
Italian tapas menu. Yes, you heard correctly. I recommend 2 courses each. We ordered 3 each and we were stuffed. Nice selection of ales and cocktails as well.
The Plume restaurant is a favourite of ours 😊 delicious Italian small plates, a great choice of wine, the ambience is warm, and the staff are welcoming.
We love this place. The food, service, staff knowledge and atmosphere are always fantastic. Refreshing for vegetarian and vegan friends to always enjoy a lot of choice on the menu too. Wine list is also very good. Highly recommend for a great night out.

We went out here with a few friends for the first time and it was a fabulous time. The food was fantastic, great service and a really well thought-out menu. The whole set up felt well thought through and organised and we were very impressed at the management and execution of the food service, managing so many dishes at once.
We will absolutely be back!
It was great. Very yummy and lots of interesting choices, I wish I could have tried them all! I will be going back to do this! ☺️
