Always good for a low-cost dinner and drink. The food is good and consistent. The veg carries are excellent. The staff are pleasant and can always manage a smile.

Very clean Wetherspoons pub, with very friendly and helpful staff. I've had breakfast here a few times, as well as stopped in just for a drink, and it's always been a pleasant experience.

Only been here during the day around a dozen times , one of the quieter Spoons pubs with an upmarket look to it compared to others I have visited. Food and service fine and the staff not over friendly but professional.

Say what you like about 'Spoons, their fitout and extension of this historic building is impeccable. Lots of intimate and outdoor spaces in what is an expansive pub an restaurant.
Having said that,it is best visited when there isn't a crowd in- lunchtime drinks or morning coffee. Park in ASDA next door.

Never had any issues with The parsons barn. Service always quick and friendly. Only issue was my steak on my mixed grill was inedible due to being like boot leather which has never been an issue before.
