Lovely staff who were very friendly!
The venue itself was quite large with plenty of seating - it was quiet when we visited around 5:30pm on a Saturday but the phone for takeaway was busy!
Ordered a large cod which comes with chips and tartar sauce, had a portion of mushy peas too! The meal was lovely, nice generous portion of chips and amazing fish.
Just had a can of Dr Pepper to go alongside which was maybe a bit too pricey.
All in all, lovely food, great service!!
Always a friendly welcome and good service here. Recently redecorated to give a more open and relaxed feel. Reliable fish and chips every time at a fair price.
The chips here are crispy not soggy, which makes a change. Having had fish twice, on one occasion the batter was light and crispy and the fish perfectly cooked. On the other, the batter was a little lacklustre, but the fish still well cooked. You can sit and eat inside (beer and wine are available) or take away.
