A very nice pub with good food and a warm welcome. I was most impressed with the amount of food available. The regular menu had all the standard food grub but the "specials" boards were just as big and along with the vegetarian and fish options everyone would find something to their liking. The lamb burger I had and the lamb chump chops that I tried were excellent and the rhubarb crumble (one of my favourite dishes) did not disappoint. The staff were pleasant, helpful when deciding what to eat and well informed about the local area which is a bonus when you are on a getaway. We got to the Inn On The Green in the early afternoon and found a seat with ease but we were warned that we would need to book ahead for an evening or weekend meal as it can get very busy. The next time I go (and there will be a next time) I will be keen to try something else on the specials boards.

As a large group of hungry walkers, although we pre-booked, we found the staff very accommodating and the food excellent. We will definitely be returning next year - a great place to eat and relax after walking Stiperstones.

Stayed at the campsite and walked there in a couple of minutes. Broad menu with everything you would expect and then lovely specials as well. Very generous portions, excellent quality and very reasonably priced. Had the lamb shank and cod - both beautiful! Would definitely go back!
