Visited Oval Brasserie on the occasion of my mother's birthday. Food and service were excellent, the tandoori king prawns a real highlight. What made the evening really special was the effort the staff put in for mums birthday, at the end of the meal we received a birthday cake, then mum was presented with flowers and a card from the staff, which made her evening!

Me and my daughters went on a Friday evening, didn’t make a reservation but we’re still made to feel really welcome. The food was really tasty and well priced. The staff were so friendly and we had such a nice evening. They brought out a cake with a huge sparkler and sang happy birthday to my daughter. The experience started with the best Lime pickle I have tasted anywhere. Service was swift, polite and fuss free. You can taste the fresh ingredients in all the dishes. Everything was perfectly cooked and a delight to eat. Wine was lovely (Pinot) and very reasonably priced. Recommend to all.
