Stella's Bistro

Our first visit to Stella's Bistro & what an amazing experience. Lovely pre drinks before dinner in the beautiful themed lounge & retro 1950' bar. The food was amazing and a superb wine choice to. Graeme our host absolutely made our evening with his excellent relaxed service and entertaining stories. We will definitely be returning when next in Silloth

"Amazing" describes this bistro perfectly. The food is all cooked by the hosts of Green View bed and breakfast, who also own Stella's Bistro. Nice selection of items available on the menu, which changes on a regular basis. The food was delicious and the presentation was perfect. Very intimate atmosphere created with retro decoration and personal service from your hosts. At time of our visit open to non residents Wednesday to Saturday evenings and booking essential. If your visiting Silloth, make sure you give this Bistro a try, highly recommended.

Lovely place! Your options in Silloth for food is basically fish and chips or pub grub. Stella's however is serving up huge plates of tasty French food at great prices! It's part of a guesthouse but open to all if they have space (definitely need to book ahead though as it's only small). Service is impeccable and the whole experience was excellent.

Fitted in last minute and what a experience. Convivial host who has the front room of the guest house set up for diners to enjoy a aperitif. It is food cooked to order and timed to balance the needs of each set of diners. The chicken liver pate was a delight in fact so generous the additional bread homemade by the way was needed. The mains were salmon and chuck steak. The steak was beautifully served with handcut chips and carrots. The salmon perfect cooked with a crust. Hugely enjoyable and very generous. Desert had to be shared and a wonderful lemon tart and chantilly cream. A great find whilst here in Siloth
