Delightful place to visit. Historical converted industrial building are charming. The musical history in the area is celebrated here with music rooms and recital rooms with daily events to tingle your ears. Fabulous antique shops to browse and modern interior paraphernalia to purchase also. Plants and a choice of dining venues makes this a perfect day . You can enjoy a meander through the marshes if your a twitcher a bonus for you guys. I have some lovely memories of this place .
Some very different angles of the buildings

Love this place. Beautiful read beds for walking, super concert hall and lovely arts and furnishings shops to potter round. We also enjoyed a nice cake and coffee. Sad to hear the Letter Arts Trust shop and exhibition are closing down in May.

Lovely place to visit and the surrounding is beautiful. If it's not a rainy day walking along the reed fields are so cathartic. I would highly recommend a visit. And some unique wares on sale. It's not got full 5 star only because they stick a lot of foreign goods and I am certain if you look around UK there are amazing little artists who create stunning work without it having to be imported.

This is a place of two very different halves. The area is surrounded by wild fen land and wonderful walks along the river.
The other half is a complex of nice shops, art galleries, eating places and concerts ( this is the home of Suffolk music especially Benjamin Britten) Something for all and a place to enjoy for a few hours, whatever your taste.

Took a while to find my way across country (using Google maps) but well worth a visit. Lots to see and buy (I did!!). Art, crafts, produce, home, gifts - all in a beautiful setting. Enjoyed a delicious lunch at the restaurant overlooking the river view. Lovely walk beside the river and there's a boat trip if fancied. So glad I took the time to go; spent an extra three hours just relaxing and enjoying this place by myself. Will certainly go again.

Caters for impromptu visitors and day trippers. Quiet walks beside the river. View the alternating modern sculptures.
Caters for food allergies.
Caters for wheelchair users.
Quiet and restful when no shows on.
Excellent facilities and varied international programme of musical events.
Worth all the effort to visit.

Nice place so ONLY COMMENTING ON THE FOOD HUT/SHED takeaway thing by the quay (which my receipt would suggest is owned by Snape Maltings), but stopped by to grab some quick lunch today and this was the least expensive option in the complex. At over £7 for a roll I expected it to be very good and tasty. It was not at all and the roll was barely edible. Absolute rip off.

Nice place to go & browse, some fab things in the home & garden shop. Parking was confusing and the beer, coffee, ice cream kiosk was a rip off charging £11:25 for 2 very small ice creams (3 scoops in all) as the computerized tills were not set up properly, I did manage to get £2 refund as I complained about it the kids running it hadn’t a clue but eventually a supervisor admitted it was wrong but even do £9:25 for a 2 scoop tub and a 1 scoop cone is totally over priced, the scoops were really small too - so beware
