Came in to kill sometime and was treated wonderfully by all the staff in particular James K and Maz.
They made me feel like a superstar and were extremely professional.
The food was fantastic, I had a few light bites and nearly needed rolling out.
10/10 will be back again.

Excellent staff, good value drinks & food, made me feel a VIP for my retirement do held there recently. Scott & Daniel very helpful & efficient on organising my special evening. Thanks guys AND gals!

Good accessibility for a wheelchair. Lift to toilets. Friendly staff. We had the lunch menu, baguette was big lots of filling with chips and a cold drink. Deffoo return again. Good value for money.

Interesting choice of cask beers and ciders you don't normally see. Less expensive too. Example - Wainwright's Golden at £3.00 a pint. Comfortable, relaxed atmosphere. I enjoyed my late afternoon visit.

Don’t normally write reviews for bars, but I just had to give a shout-out to bar staff member, Charlotte. She was super accommodating and recommended the best cocktails for me and my friends, while also being incredibly friendly & chatty, felt like we were being served by a friend. The speed of service and quality of drinks were also both great! I’ve been to Yates a few times in the past but this is my first time back in over a year & there seems to be a relatively new team, who are all great. Thanks Charlotte for making our night even more fun! Highly recommend :)

Just want to say what a great place it is as the atmosphere was amazing, and both food and drink were really good. Thank you to our waitress Charlotte who provided excellent customer service it truly made our experience so much better, would definitely go back 😁

Came one day last week and Charlotte (young girl with highlighted brown/blonde hair) was so welcoming and helpful, even with the request of awkward and long cocktails!😂 It’s very rare to get young girls who are pleasant to equally young girls and so she deserved the recognition. Will definitely be back again and hope to see her lovely face again too :)
