Amazing food, brilliant service, but then when a place is as popular as this is, then it is to be expected. Friendly atmosphere and the staff are all amazing 👏

Celebrating mums 81st birthday (17/10/23) Our waitress was at first a bit offish at first as I asked if we could change where sitting due to mum having trouble sitting as no leg room. Once ordering she did cheer up and gave great service , food was excellent. Another member of staff did help bring food to table but oh my how rude was she !! (I am pretty sure she was a team leader or maybe management, didn’t catch her name) Considering we were a table of 6 people her service was unacceptable as one member of booking politely asked if she could had her eggs on gammon changed to runny eggs as hers were well over cooked….. we were spoken too very sharply. “Well did you order them runny !! “. Our reply was no as didn’t think too and member of staff just gave us a look !! All the years of going to this restaurant and never had a problem with staff before.

Visited The Plough on Thursday afternoon at 2pm .It has been about 7years since we last went there. On entering we were greeted immediately by Donna and Shawn to a table . The menu is varied but not so much choice that it takes too long to choose. when ore meals arrived they were hot and very tasty . Service was excellent, efficient but not ingratiating . We did have an offer that gave us 1/3 price reduction on main menu food but even without that Iwe consider it good value for money

We arrived and were standing waiting for about 10 minutes being completely ignored by 2 members of staff, who walked past us twice with not so much as an acknowledgement. We were about to leave when a lovely waitress called Donna saw us and came over to greet us and show us to our table. The food and desserts were great but it was Donna who made it a lovely experience by the way she was warm, friendly and attentive. If it hadn't been for her we would have walked out. Thank you Donna. You were rushed off your feet yet you were pleasant and helpful. I hope your managers see this and reward you accordingly!

Stopped off on our way home from Beaulieu, 7pm Sunday, place was half empty but we were made to feel it was difficult to find a space. Waitress was friendly enough but service was painfully slow food order took over an hour to arrive, there were at least three kitchen staff just watching the screen. Our food was lovely, steak nicely cooked, chips nice and fluffy.

Great breakfast with my family. The 2 kids eat free per adult breakfast is fantastic value. There’s so much choice and it’s all freshly cooked to order. The continental selection was a hit for the younger ones. Great service from the young woman with blonde hair and the head scarf.

Dispite the fact the poor waitress was on her own this is by far the best Beefeater we've been to. The food was amazing, perfectly cooked and seasoned, well presented and hot. The waitress was cheerful and helpful, apologetic even though it wasn't her fault. Give your staff a raise and enough staff to cope when you put special offers on so if one phones in sick they're not left on their own dealing with a busy restaurant. Well done to the lovely bubbly Hannah

The breakfast spread at this BEEFEATER is extremely varied, lots of cereal, juices, pastries, bread, I chose the full English, it was hot , freshly made and cooked just right. Our host Charlotte was able and capable, it was a very session with lots of people, she was a natural host.

Was staying at the Premier Inn and decided to pop in for dinner. I cannot remember the burger I had, but it was amazing. And on the side they had some salad which had a dressing that I have never tasted before it was very nice too. The bun wasn't toasted to a crisp like most do, and the meat was perfectly cooked. The host was well mannered and very polite. The pint of Coke was expensive though.
