We accidentally came across this pub. What a GEM of a place, the food was outstanding and its what I call proper pub food, really reasonable price, locally sourced veg and meat. Great little play park for the kids too, we will be returning

What a lovely pub. Been twice this week. Once just for a drink & tonight for an anniversary meal.
Great food & drink at reasonable prices. Friendly, helpful staff. Our dog was spoilt rotten. Large beer garden, play area for kids. The atmosphere was friendly and fun, everyone just chilled & relaxing. Thanks guys. 👍

Unpretentious independent village pub. Friendly landlord and family run - always clean and well kept. Lovely menu of hearty food and always have a nice variety of beers available on tap. Great summer garden for outside dining and nice fire keeping it warm in winter. Patrons are all from around the area - always good company about This is a regular stop for us.

Had a really lovely meal here and can’t recommend this pub enough.
There is pub food and then there’s pub food to a really high standard and this is Fox & Hounds. Freshly made, freshly cooked, great ingredients and everything was served hot.

My husband and I visited here with our friends on a weekend away last week and it was the best meal I have ever eaten! Our food was fresh, hot and delicious. I had the rump steak and it was cooked perfectly and the chips were lovely too. Very friendly people. Would recommend to everyone. It's a shame we live so far but will definitely be back if we visit the area again 😊

Lovely atmosphere ,nice and clean. Land lord and lady were nice. Food was gorgeous and all locally sourced .I had the Hunters Chicken coleslaw was home made. Great Value .

Great food and amazing friendly service. I had the bacon and cheese burger which was clearly fresh and homemade also very generous. I was determined to finish it as it was delicious. My partner had the mushroom burger which was also excellent. We were also impressed by the drinks selection.
