Great place to eat thalis from different parts of India. Very crowded place. The fact that this restaurant exists because of its Indian customers says a lot about the quality of the food. Even in delhi also i been to Saravanaa Bhavan Cp many time... i was so happy when my friend told me about that saravanaa bhavan is located in London also.. i jump out of excitement..
The feeling of getting the same taste of anything exceptionally good across different different locations is indeed amazing and that’s how food at Saravanaa Bhavan is. I have visited numerous outlets of Saravanaa Bhavan in India and to get the same taste and hospitality in London was a great feeling. It’s must visit for anyone who is looking for great Indian cuisine at a very fair price.
Good food ,good quality, recommended for visitors great taste, Sara ana Saravanaa bhavan south road southhall London Delicious great yummy lajawab taste
Whenever I pass by Heathrow, I like stopping over Southhall for the great Indian restaurants of which Saravanaa is one of my favourites for their delicious Thalis such as the pictured with a rice option. Delicious!
The only place perhaps which serves Indian food in it's authentic-most avatar!!! I am not a big fan of South Indian food, but here in London, sometimes when you crave for something close to home, you don't divide between North and South!
Nice place for satisfying your cravings for South Indian food while in London. Have tried their masala dosa , cocktail idlis and thali. All were good, but not as good as the ones served in their Wembley outlet .
Service was prompt & attentive, and there's parking available too. You get a lovely view of gurudwara singh sabha too!
I would say name only is enough. Nothing more is required to say. Truly it is one of the great place to enjoy South Indian food. I personally like their Rava Masala Dosas, mango lassi, mini ghee idlis and sambhar.
A great place to try Indian Thali dishes, which is a platter of multiple signature dishes. They have Thali's influenced from North and South Indian cuisine. This location and their Wembley location are equally busy! All food is vegetarian.
Got craving for some yummy South Indian dishes, then this is the place to be.My husband and I went for South Indian lunch buffet and I must say we had made the right decision.Sambhar was authentic along with other dishes.Curd was amazingly yummy. We followed it up with the famous filter coffee.A strong one though but enjoyed thoroughly.Staff courteous, quick. This place tends to get overcrowded during peak times so you might need to wait a bit to get a seat.
This is one of the best places to have some authentic South Indian food in west London... The staff especially one Vinoth is an absolutely pleasant and efficient man.
A nice vegetation restaurant in Southall, West London. Majorly South Indian foods are too good, but other dishes are also decent.
Most importantly prices are very reasonable. Almost every menu comes under £10.
Ambiance is good 👍. Stuffs are helpful. Getting table at weekends or rush periods may be tough, you need to wait for 10-15 mins may be.
Quality and quantity both are good 👍.
Our 1st try was hit. Highly recommended to try a good vegetarian meal specifically South Indian.
They have franchises all over the world. You can get complete info once you visit here.
Really outstanding vegetarian. Even if you’re not a veggie, the food here is delicious and the presentation has a wow factor. The Puri are massive football sized fluffy Puri which you can’t help poke, and the paper and masala dosa were beautifully presented very large rolls usually with potatoe nicely spiced with sauce. Extra sauces mint, chutney, sambar nicely spiced and flavourful. They will bring extra sauces if you like one and run out.
Mango lassi is delicious, as was the mango shake and for dessert their classic Gulab jamun with ice cream was a big hit with the kids. Basically ice cream sunday with jelly, ice cream and syrup.
Atmosphere is basic, clean uncluttered tables and benches. Feels almost like being in India. Glass windows by the kitchen so you can see them prepare the massive crepe dosas and puris.
Service is quick and efficient, told us in advance one meal would take 20 mins which was fine. We shared the dishes that arrived early and again when some arrived later. Is an easy place to share as the dosas are so big it’s better to eat them fresh and hot as they arrive.
Reasonable prices for London. Would recommend for newbies to veggie or south Indian food.
My Indian friends already know how good it is.
Really enjoy the food. Highly recommended. Food Service was on time amd staff were very helpful despite being very busy. Will come back again.
Really delicious food. Comes piping hot, so everything is freshly made. Really recommend the chilli sweetcorn starter. Wish I could try everything they have such an extensive menu
Amazing service by Naz, very helpful.
I visited the restaurant for lunch and ordered the masala dosa and poori masala. The service was quick and courteous, and the food arrived hot and fresh. The masala dosa was crispy and thin, with a generous amount of spicy potato filling. The dish came with 2 coconut chutney and sambar. The poori masala was a deep-fried bread served with a curry of mashed potato and cauliflower. The only disappointment was the masala tea, which was bland and watery. It lacked the aroma and flavor of cardamom, ginger and cloves that I expected from a good masala tea. The only disappointment was the masala tea, which was bland and watery. It lacked the aroma and flavor of cardamom, ginger and cloves that I expected from a good masala tea. Both dishes were flavorful and satisfying, and the portions were generous. The restaurant had a lot of space and a customer car park behind the restaurant, which made it convenient. I enjoyed the meal and would recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for authentic Indian vegetarian cuisine in Southall.
Great location, a stone's throw from Southall Station. The food menu is good with a variety of dishes from South India to North India. They also have a good drinks menu. Service was good.
Our go to dosa restaurant in Ealing Borough. Now extended and refurbished, it continues to serve outstanding food swiftly and well cooked. We had our favourites - masala dosa, idli and mango lassi. A plus is the restaurant giving you a complimentary free parking space. Toilet facilities are much improved and the place is always full.
This place is best for vegetarians. Food is very tasty.. tried almost all dishes.. and mango lassi 😋 was yummy
I always wanted to try some great authentic south Indian food. We chose the south hall and visited this place. It was brunch time and the facility was fully packed, staff is courteous, they took us to inner halls as main front hall was all full. Due to my excitement, I ordered almost all types of dishes from the menu. Food was served fairly quickly as I can imagine most of dishes were prepared already as bulk. I thought food is too much but we finished it all. Loved it. Would go back again if I visited London in future this will be a must if I fancy Indian thalis especially south Indian.
Ammu was a great server on the night, she was attentive, quick in response and very hospitable person.
We really had a great time.
Thank you Sarvanna Bhavan
