Ambient ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I loved it, great vibe, spacious and you can easily pic your favourite spot. Also, there's even singles seats.
Menu ⭐️⭐️⭐️
Being Mediterranean I just believe that their tapas menu could have been so much better with more olive and ham options, cheese too.
Food ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
But the things they do have on the menu were great. Croquettes were amazing, beetroot grilled salad was also great, and sherry chorizo almost made my partner stay whole day. The only downside would be Adobo which didn't translate that famous Pinoy flavour. Blood orange sorbet was my star.
Price ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Prices are ok, approx £5 per tapas and £10 for larger dishes but they have different offers depending on the time of the day so it's good to check all those leaflets they give you.
Staff ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
I think staff was amazing, very warm and welcoming and knows everything on the menu.
Drinks N/A
They have Spanish beer and a list of cocktails that are on promotions after 3pm when you get 1+1. If you're tap water person, they will bring you a hug with or without lemon&lime.
I liked the menu, liked the ambience, good service. Found the prices to be modest. I'd go again.
We like to go here for the two 4 one cocktails. Lots of TV's around if there's football on that you want to keep an eye on.
Mahou is one damn awesome drink. Food is great, a fairly varied range, service was quick and efficient and the staff were friendly.
Atmosphere was pretty chilled and it was easy to have a conversation. Plenty of seating. The top level has some comfy sofas and a bar
Very pleasant atmosphere, nice food, friendly staff
Great place to watch sports. If you book on busy game days then you could get a booth with your own TV which they say you can watch whenever sport you want. Brilliant idea for watching sport.
Food and drink. Food is very good, cooked well and served within a good time. Drinks are you normal type of bar drinks and at normal prices.
Overall great atmosphere and very friendly place.
At the time of this review Tapas Barcelona did a theatre deal when you show your ticket for either the Mayflower or Nuffield City theatres
Love this Bar/restaurant, very friendly helpful staff, good tapas and great range of drinks.
Just a suggestion though, when music events are happening in Guildhall Square (and there often is ) perhaps they could turn off the speakers outside, there's nothing worse than 2 lots of music going on at the same time.
Also perhaps they could offer a bulk deal on Tapas (many other Tapas bars offer a deal when buying 4 or 5 dishes ) it works out quite expensive otherwise.
My husband and I went last Saturday. Well we thought we were back in 'Barcelona' it was lovely my husband had the sangria and said it was just as good as if he'd got it in Spain. Food was really good great service definitely recommend . It's a bit on the pricey side but you don't mind paying for good food.
Really good, well cooked and well presented food. Great atmosphere and the pre theatre discount was welcome surprise. I think we will always eat there when go to the new Nuffield City Theatre.
Very enjoyable bar / restaurant. Have been a couple of times but only for a drink. This time round we ate, food was great and staff were excellent. Highly recommend
