Tiger Lilly

Great food, went for the buffet which costs a little over £13 and also comes with starters and appetisers, staff very friendly, helpful and polite. Ordered a pint of cobra and a glass of wine with the meal and the wine was a large glass, drinks came to about £10. So for about £38 for two people with all you can eat is very good value. Will definitely be back, especially as I enjoy my curries and my wife likes Chinese. Unfortunately I believe that this restaurant has now closed which is a major shame.

Great food friendly staff, stayed locally for rhe Boat Show and looking for somewhere to eat, we came across the Tiger Lilly. Our first vist but made to feel like we were long time customers Went for the buffet option and was not disappointed. We will be back for the boat show next year and will be looking for a hotel close to this restaurant to visit again. Thank you to the staff for a warm welcome and a lovely meal. Great food. The driver had a kid run out in front of him and had to brake hard causing the bag to fall on the floor and a small amount of our food come out into the bag. The driver told us what had happened and told us to check the food which was perfectly fine and 10 minutes later he came back with a bottle of wine to say sorry. Great service.

Came here for a relaxing evening to catch up with a friend. Despite it being a Saturday, there was only one other party in the place (a couple more came in during the meal, but it stayed pretty empty). We were permitted to have some of us have buffet and some have a la carte, despite it not being normally allowed. There was a good selection of vegetarian mains, and the main courses were plenty filling, even without starters.

Food is delicious! I ordered a take-away and it was very tasty food, good prompt delivery and reasonable price. The only thing for me was the beancurd and vegetable dish I ordered didn't really have much beancurd or veg in it. It was more water chestnuts and bamboo shoots - a bit disappointing on that score. Otherwise, I loved it as did my my family.
