Popped in today, great ice cream at a great price as always, I had a waffle cone with chocolate, cherry, mint choc chip and butterscotch. Loved it, been visiting for 35 years, always great service, friendly staff, always made to feel welcome. See you again soon .

So we visited Carlo's Ice as my other half used to go there years ago when he was younger. It was absolutely worth it, tucked away and clearly popular. The ice cream is brilliant, it was a little busy, but expected as the sun was shining and it was a Sunday afternoon. The garden area is lovely for if you have a dog with you and for the children they have guinea pigs and rabbits to look at. The baby guinea pigs and rabbits were the cutest thing! Will definitely pop in again when in the area.
Arrived just after 2pm on bank holiday Monday. Busy for ice cream. Cafe had no one waiting so ordered tea and a full roast dinner.
Great staff. Tea arrived in minutes. Food 15 minutes. Worth waiting for too.
Love taking my son to Carlos to see the animals and grab an ice cream. I use to come here when I was a child with my parents and nan. The place hasn't changed at all and neither has the ice cream! Taste just as good as I remember as a child 💖
Very lovely family business. Wide variety of options and freshly made ice cream.
It would be improved if there were clearer menu options. We couldn't see the options until quite close to the front of the queue and it was then difficult to explain the choices.
A dairy free ice cream would make this place pretty much perfect!
Nicely tucked out of the way so no hustle n bustle. Food was soooo nice that we decided to revisit a few days later & again food was top notch. Staff very friendly & welcoming. Best breakfast ever!
It's been about 30 years since I've been there, so there's been a few changes! I don't know if it's still run by members of the same family, but the ice cream is still wonderful. I had a strawberry milk shake, and my wife had the bonoffe split. Both wonderful!

The ice cream selection and ice creams are amazing which "Carlo's Ices"are famous for.
Their meals is also very good and very filling so you'll always feel very satisfied after having a meal and an ice cream or even just an ice cream at Carlo's.
So go visit and try for yourselves as this family run business has been going for as many years as I can remember and is renowned for its service and quality.👍😋😋

Lovely stop off for one of their unique ice creams. And a wander round their rabbits and guinea pigs.
Love the ice cream here. I had the bubblegum flavour which left me with a blue tongue. But hey that's a small price to pay! Will definitely be back and we will try the cafe.
