Love this chippy! The chips are always really nice and fresh, the fish and battered sausage are also really good. The staff are all really friendly, think it’s family ran. I live really close and have to say I come here far too often. For one person the small chips is more than enough.
Check your order before leaving the shop, as mine was missing a paid for battered sausage. Despite that, excellent food, cooked fresh, at a reasonable price. But for the missing sausage, it would definitely be 5 star.
Disappointing visit, been here a few times over the years and more than happy with previous food. 4 people behind the counter, no welcome from any of them. Ordered 2 small/medium cod and large chips, £18.40. Got home and not impressed, batter overcooked and dry, fish scarce and very dry.
Large chips was enough to feed 2 adults. Fish was nice. The pie was yummy. It was quick service and not too expensive. Would come again.
Brilliant service, lovely fresh cheesy chips. Great value and a decent portion. I will be back for lunch again for sure.
Come here quite regularly, never been disappointed. Rarely a long wait, food is usually cooked to order and portion sizes are generous. Service with a smile, always aim to go here if I fancy chips.
