Kwackers

Visited for a quick lunch today situated at in the food hall at the top of west quay shopping centre it adds an interesting fusion of west meets east food. I ordered the original duck burger with a helping of Asian slaw, spring onions, pickled ginger and hoisin sauce, my partner had the sweet chili chicken burger, all served with fries and also ordered an extra side of spring rolls. The duck burger was tasty, not too gamey flavour, nice bouncy texture to the meet, complemented by the fresh and crunchy slaw and the sweet hoisin. The chicken burger was crisp and the sweet chili was just right. Fries are fresh and crunchy, nothing spectacular but nicely done. Spring rolls were slightly anaemic, could of done with 30 seconds to add a little colour and the filling was very underwhelming. All in all a very nice burger would be interested in trying a few of their dishes.

Wonderfully tasty food, and completely customisable to your preferences. Would highly highly recommend if you’re in West Quay, for an incredibly easy meal. Can be eaten on the go if in a hurry, and the wraps can be made and paid for within 5 minutes. Price for a meal is roughly £10, with can and chips. Without, it is usually around £5 - £7.

I had the pleasure of trying the Plant-Based Katsu Curry from Kwackers truck during my visit to the Ageas Bowl for a cricket match, and I must say, it was an absolute delight! The flavors danced on my palate, creating a harmonious symphony of taste that left me craving more. Not only was the dish exquisitely delicious, but it also left me feeling wonderfully satisfied. The blend of plant-based ingredients in the katsu curry was a culinary masterpiece that showcased the dedication and skill of the chefs at Kwackers. The portion size was generous and left me feeling happily full, making it the perfect choice for a satisfying meal that didn't compromise on taste. The attention to detail and the quality of ingredients were evident with each bite, and I couldn't help but be impressed by the thoughtfulness that went into crafting such a fantastic dish. Kwackers has truly set a new standard for plant-based cuisine with their Plant-Based Katsu Curry. The harmonious fusion of flavors, the satisfying portion, and the overall experience have left an indelible mark on my taste buds and memory. If I could rate it more than five out of five, I would gladly do so without hesitation. Jen or jem I’m not sure completely 😂 but she was a legend! Really friendly and helpful!! All the other staff were also very friendly but I just found that Jen or Jem stood out. I’ll definitely return! Good suited my dietary requirements as I’m trying to eat healthy and enjoyed having the healthier poke bowl with chicken was all round 5 stars! Thanks guys and girls!!!
