Zumi Pizza Co.

Hard to find vegan pizza, let alone *good* vegan pizza. My omnivore friends enjoy a lot of other items on their menu, but as a vegan I was excited to see they'd added vegan pizza options. Just had the margherita and it was AMAZING - some of the best I've had in all of MA. (The sea salt is a perfect touch.) Great selection for all tastes!

To start with the good, my parents once loved their pizzas for a while back. I remember their pizzas certainly being above average. But my latest meal seem like a knockoff caricature of that Zumi pizza. Their large veggie pizza tasted so weak, with barely cooked veggies, sad fried eggplant, and mediocre pizza base. Far from the stuffed, savory pizza I remembered. I also grabbed a steak tip dinner w/ sweet potato fries and was spectacularly disappointed. Forget the lackluster tri-tip that were missing the onions and mushrooms. My sweet potato fries were downgraded to a pile of soggy, mushy regular fries. No sauces, no dips, or even dressing for the side salad. And all this for higher Zumi's higher end pricing for pizza, which is flat out unacceptable. If you plan to order here, stick to the pizza (assuming you can't go elsewhere)

The fish & chips is excellent, probably the best I’ve ever had from a pizza place. Also recommend the burger - thick, hand packed patties make them super juicy and they actually cook to the temp ordered. Fries are very good if you can manage to vent the container on the way home, the way they package to go orders tends to degrade anything fried very quickly since the steam can not escape 🤔
