Let's just say 10/10 , been going here quite a regular and I've never been disappointed. It's got the whole thing, staff, service, atmosphere, food and good wine. It is a great place to meet friends and family for a bite to eat, drink, chat and laugh.

I met up with friends at Pizza Express on Tuesday night and had a wonderful time. The star of the evening was our waitress Hen who went above and beyond to make sure we had a good time.
The food was really good and we did not feel rushed at all. Nice relaxed atmosphere and attentive staff.
Hen you are a credit to Puzza Express, well done!
Great five course meal for 20.99 per person. Helped adapt the set meal for gluten free version. Excellent service, lovely staff.

Had a lovely meal as usual at Pizza Express Southend. This is a lovely friendly restaurant and this afternoon was no exception. This afternoon we were served by Hen who was really efficient and bubbly. Hen was really attentive to my granddaughter who is 5 and comes regularly with me and loves the place as do I. We met the new Manager who fits really well. Can’t wait for our next visit.
Pleased to say this pizza express came to the rescue when Rayleigh branch told me they were full to capacity with the amount of staff they had. Such a contrast in staff politeness. Rayleigh we’re rude but Southend helpful and accommodating. Been a pizza express fan for approximately 35 years so yeh, loved it!
Pizza Express in Southend provide wonderful and consistently amazing cuisine. The Leggera pizzas are a treat and the old classics like doughballs and linguini are to die for. The wine selection is perfect and classy and the service we experienced wad first class. Look at the all star desserts from the wonderful Henal who made our evening special.

Lovely experience at Pizza Express Southend today. Food was lovely, and very prompt. Served by a very polite young boy named Toby, and Fran was also very polite too when she bought us our food.
Would definitely recommend. 5* guys!
