Very good carvery. Food good. Don't always find the atmosphere very relaxing and chilled though. Might depend on what time of the day when visiting. Lunch time is usually busy with families and sometimes this detracts from a more chilled ambience. Although the service is good it's more cafe like in its approach. Good value but I prefer a traditional pub but that's just my personal taste. For families it's good.
Had a lovely experience today we had Lynn serve us and she was polite, professional she was amazing with our children. She deserves a lot of appraisal for how great she works
Staff were very friendly and enthusiastic. Too hot in there if you get sat near the carvery. It was boiling! The selection of vegetables was excellent. We always go to Runwell Village Toby but this one was just as good. Compliments to the chef!
