Trattoria 51 is a great place to have lunch. We ordered pizza and salad and we were not disappointed. The pizza was delicious and the salad was fresh. The service was excellent and the staff were friendly. The restaurant has a nice atmosphere and is very clean. We would definitely recommend Trattoria 51 to anyone looking for a great place to eat. We particularly liked that they brought the kid’s food first.

Cannot fault this lovely place. We visited as a family of four (two adults and two children) and couldn't of felt more welcome. The atmosphere, food, service and staff are absolutely fantastic. The menu choices are superb and worth every penny. Highly recommended and will definitely visit again when in Southport in future.
Highly recommend. Party of 4 2 adults 2 children and there were clean plates all round. I had the seafood linguine (name I can't remember) and it was one of the nicest meals I've had in a long time. I've worked in the restaurant industry for over 20 years and would not hesitate to return. Staff were all welcoming and accommodating. Shame we were only visiting for the weekend or I would definitely be back soon.
Fantastic atmosphere, welcoming to our messy 10 month old baby. Absolutely delicious food including delicious gluten free options. The only thing missing that would have been the icing on the cake was if the tiramisu had been gluten free!
Very friendly staff that are attentive without being intrusive. Nice building and decor with delicious food that tasted really fresh. The pasta we had was a very generous portion too 😊
This place is a gem. The couple next to me had a gluten free pizza and said its the best they had for 15 years.

Came across this little gem whilst visiting Southport. It wasn't due to open for for another 30mins but we were invited in anyway. The lovely lady who served us was brilliant, nothing was too much trouble and was very attentive. We ordered a starter, main and dessert. All 3 courses were absolutely amazing, cooked to perfection and full of flavour . Very happy with the price as the quality of the restaurant, food and staff was first class. Definitely recommend and will be coming back again.

a great evening, good upbeat atmosphere.staff were attentive and professional under Social distancing rules. sterlised and bagged cutlery to anti bac chairs and tables. did not overfill, left some tables vacant even though many ad hoc punters were turned away..
food was as always amazing. fresh , spices balanced, my seafood pizza was perfect, and the seafood taggliatelle was excellent . the best italian restaurant in southport . cant wait to go back
