Very disappointed to hear this wonderful restaurant is closing! People remember us in hurricane ravaged areas! When these things happen, it takes more than a week for us to recoup what we lose. Understand the suffering goes on looong after the cameras turn off. When you hear about places being damaged, plan on going by and supporting local businesses like this one! Now WE all are losing out!

Taylor Cafe was recommended for breakfast in Southport, with buttermilk pancakes on the menu. Unfortunately, not all ingredients were available on the morning of my visit, but the sweet potato pancakes did not disappoint. Cooked to order, with an egg on top!

Great hidden gem, breakfast was amazing. Wife loved her sweet potato pancakes and I loved my omelet while stealing wife's country style THICK bacon. Service was great.

What a great little diamond in the rough. Although we had a little bit if a wait, it was well worth it. The service was fast and friendly. I was extremely impressed by the way that their crew moved customers in and out without making a single person feel rushed. Their menu was great and had a little something for anyones taste. Our meal was cooked and put together very well and arrived to our table, fresh off of the grill. The next time that I'm in the area, Taylor Cuisine Cafe and Catering will be at the top of my list for places to eat.

If you're hungry and love breakfast... Taylor's "Big Breakfast" is for you! You can also never go wrong with an order of their famous chicken & waffles. The staff are always friendly and attentive. Taylor's is a total breakfast and lunch must try!!

Really good ceaser salad. The server was incredibly friendly and even brings the specials sign over so you can read it. Definetly worth a shot if you are looking for a decent lunch. The breakfast menu looked great so we will go back for breakfast soon.

Taylors has amazing breakfast. Wonderful server and Karen the chef and owner is so kind. I highly recommend eating here. And dont leave without getting a purple pancake!

I love Taylor's. It's not pretentious, just feels like home. The food is all homemade. Her fried chicken is so crispy, but tender & juicy inside. The grits are the best I've ever had, pretty much in all of Brunswick County.
Stop in for a great honecooked meal!

Had the big breakfast today. 2 eggs, sausage, bacon, home fries and gravy biscuit for $7. Absolutely delicious. Unable to finish everything even I wanted too. Service was quick with a genuine friendly smile. Thanks again.

Excellent fried chicken! Was made to order. So my food was hot & fresh! I got the fried chicken. It came with 2 sides. I got rice & green beans. Waitress was excellent. Kept my drink filled & brought the food out promptly.
