Zambrero Southport

I love Mexican food and have tried pretty much all the restaurants on the coast who offers it but zambrero's cauliflower stands out. Also they have such a wonderful staff all the time especially this female employee (was working today afternoon) is very friendly, attentive and professional. Though the restaurant seemed busy to me but she was taking care of it very effectively. Really good service

I went to zambreros Southport on the 30/4/22 (Saturday) around 3:30. There was a girl and boy working. I usually love zambreros but I was really disappointed with the service and quality. First of all, the rice was hard and crunchy. With some bites it was impossible to chew. The girl that served us wasn’t rude but not nice as well. She made the burritos so messy, sloppy and with no effort. She didn’t put enough sauce and the burrito was dry. Also it was obvious that the ingredients were cooked with no care. The beans are supposed to be mashed and there were chunks of random stuff in it. I don’t mean to be rude but I’m not sure if she’s new or just incompetent. Please retrain your staff!!

Ordered on Uber eats & Paid for extra fillings twice! just to not receive them after I also wrote a note to them to ensure it was on there. and when I called the store they said I hadn’t paid for extra fillings however with further investigation from them they realised I had paid and didn’t even say sorry or try compensate. Another occasion I was given a burrito bowl instead of a burrito. I highly recommend not ordering Uber eats with them . Just absolutely careless!
