Trip for dinner as living in france we miss our curry house visits! Arrived 1945 and restaursnt was v busy - a good sign. Service was friendly and fast!
Food was well presented and tasted great. Naturally spicey. Chicken tikka and fish amritsar for starter, lamb gosht and chicken murgh curry for main with tarka dhal and plain naan. Recommend the white rioja with it.
One of the best indians we have experienced in the uk. Not cheap but defo worth the extra!

The food and service here was really excellent. We were a large group of 18, and they took really good care of us.
We had pre-ordered a menu beforehand, which was approx £23 per head, and we enjoyed so much delicious food that was really beautifully presented. There were really good amounts of meat which was very tasty, succulent chicken breasts, and overall it felt really healthy and not greasy. It was incredibly good value, and we left absolutely stuffed.
There were a range of curries which were very flavoursome - quite spicy for some of us, but excellent nonetheless. The staff were very efficient and were on hand for more drinks and food - so we were never left with empty glasses. An exceptional experience and a brilliant evening.

Revisited again tonight 03 JAN 23 and if anything food is even better. Five of us went and all said best Indian food ever. Just WOW most authentic Indian food we have had in this country. Menu very different and staff pleased to help you choose and make recommendations. All dishes were superb, freshly cooked to order only using the freshest of ingredients and spices. You could taste every spice. Even the popadoms were different. Highly recommended.

Every dish for three people delicious. Not all the same-old Anglo-Bengali menu. A much lighter touch to the gravies.
Reasonable drinks mark-up. Service scrupulous and efficient. Bright, modern decor. A lovely pistachio biscuit and ice cream treat for a birthday surprise. A def re-visit.

This is without a doubt the best restaurant in Southport!
I had an absolutely amazing meal last night with my girlfriend. The staff were attentive and were great at recommending what to order. Everything we ordered was suggested to us and it did not disappoint! The staff take real pride and pleasure in your enjoyment of the food and your enjoyment of the evening.
I can't recommend this restaurant highly enough.

Visiting Southport on a golf holiday with a small group, dropped in for a post round curry. Good service, nice food, pleasant surroundings. Good but not spectacular. We looked around the local competition and this looked much the nicest. Would go back.

Hidden indian gem of Southport!
I would highly recommend this restaurant for anyone who appreciates fine dining indian food without the pretentious price tag.
Absolutely delicious authentic Indian food in a lovely clean chic setting. Service was brilliant and the staff really make time to ensure you get the perfect meal with no preservatives in the food. The food was not swimming in oil so we didn't get a heavy stomach after our meal. Everything tasted so fresh that we had to go back a second time in a row.
You must check this unique place out!

This indian restaurant was a bit more upmarket and did dishes all from fresh produce, you could actually see them cooking the food, the food was absolutely beautiful, it had dishes on the menu that I had never heard of, so was brilliant to try different food, the waiters were absolutely first class, so helpful and attentive, I'm gluten free and have never been offered a gluten free nan bread in an Indian restaurant, but the Kalash did and it was very tasty, wasn't overly priced, lovely light atmosphere, I'd definitely recommend the place for a different experience in Indian cuisine

Definitely not your run of the mill Indian restaurant. Food was freshly prepared, this did mean wait times between courses were a bit drawn out, however, it was a busy service. This didn't bother us and was a nice way to end the day.
The Saag Gosht was superb, a rich spiced sauce with plenty of spinach and tender lamb. Would recommend.

Tried this restaurant for a takeaway. Accommodating for gluten-free giving advice. The food was very tasteful and had good selection on menu.
Recommend.

Found this little gem this evening and, wow, what a delight. From the warm and friendly welcome from lots of attentive staff to the classy, fresh and modern decor. The food was delivered efficiently and we were serviced attentively whilst never feeling harassed.
The food was simply delicious too. Full of lovely flavour without being overwhelming and presented beautifully. The whole night was a delight, thank you, we will be back!

Kailash was recommended to us and it did not disappoint! The food was excellent and the staff were knowledgeable and helpful. My wife is coeliac (gluten free) and they made sure that the poppadoms were cooked gluten free and made sure that everything ordered was suitable for a coeliac. The flavours were excellent, we'll be back for sure!

We’ve been getting takeout from Kalash for about 4 years. It’s the best Indian in Southport.
Every dish tastes beautiful- never ever disappointed.👏👏👏

I went into Kalash Divine Indian for a takeaway menu, but when I went in I was amazed how nice the place is, I had a look around and then thought forget a takeaway I'm bringing the family into here anyway I turned up on the same night and I will say you need to book a table has all but on table was full and thank god it was for four people perfect that was us getting in the food was amazing not the usual Indian I always have the same thing in every Indian this time its different, they don't do the same on there menu is different names of food a bit posh 😀 I recommend if you like Indian food go you won't be disappointed.

After the recent demise of Bombay blussi it’s safe to say that Kalash has moved quickly through the ranks to certify itself as number 1 curry in Southport, highly recommend the biryani
