Chinese Kitchen

We have been using the Chinese Kitchen as our 'go to' for years. The Chinese food is always good, hot, freshly cooked and plenty of it. Can't speak for the English meals, or chips as we tend to go to Enlish chippy for those. It remains good value for money even when prices have gone up. The only negatives are the lack of card payment facility, they don't do deliveries, and they aren't on any of the food Apps either. The other bone of contention is when they are shut for whatever reason. The phone line just rings and rings. This happened to us a couple of times and we assumed they were too busy to take phone orders. However, when we drove over there we found a sign in the window apologising for being shut. A wasted journey and disappointment. It would make more sense to leave a recorded voice message saying they are shut to avoid this. All that being said, it's still our favourite Chinese for quality and value.

We have just eaten special fried rice with prawn crackers and sweet n sour chicken with chips from the Chinese kitchen. Yes the chips were a bit light in colour but definitely cooked, the special fried rice was the best I've had and the sweet and sour sauce was very tasty. First time here and won't be our last we will be back thankyou from Jane
