This was my first visit as I was staying at the Lord Street Hotel.
The atmosphere is very luxurious, and it reminded me of the classic blockbuster movies, such as; Casino, Scarface and Al Capone.
The food was nicely prepared and the service was good. I gave 4 stars for the food because the burger bun and pattie was burnt slightly and it left a bitter taste.
However, it was a lovely visit.
Thank you

A very nice venue in the centre of Southport. The price function room is very nice. Didn't use the downstairs part of the venue but it looked very nice. The outside seating area was perfect for the nice weather we are currently enjoying. Only downside was the £6 charged for a small bottle of non alcoholic lager😬. It's expensive staying sober these days!

First and foremost, it’s really great that this former art decor cinema has reopened, albeit as a bar/brassiere (with other bars and hotel rooms to be added later). The restoration is sympathetic with the original period and really well done.
I’m not really sure what Chloe’s Bar is trying to be. If it’s a cocktail / piano bar then it shouldn’t really be family friendly. But I understand that to exclude families may reduce overall income. But maybe Southport needs something completely different?
Some of the staff were very new and maybe struggling a little on Christmas Eve 2022. Michael, however, was very attentive. Food was good, drinks were OK; overall a 4-star review. I’d like to revisit in 12 months to see in which direction this place is going.

I only called in to purchase a gift voucher and was greeted by Grace. Absolutely charming, professional and very informative! She even showed me the function room and gave me details of the children’s Frozen event in December. Grace is a credit to The Grand! I’d not been to The Grand before but was totally blown away by the decor and style! Again, we’ll done Grace!

If you go to Southport and you want something a bit more than the usual then The Grand is the place to go.A bit glam,a bit ritzy,a bit Hollywood and a bit jazz and blues. This place has everything from the great service, live music, amazing bar,fab seating, great lighting and a restaurant all in the same room.A huge place that really livens up your Saturday night.

The food here is some of the best in town. I have eaten here several times and will no doubt come numerous times again. This time I had the pleasure of the Sunday Roast and it blew away the competition in the local area, everything was cooked to perfection, including the mouth watering pink cooked beef. The Salmon was the perfect Opener and my all time favourite dessert, a cheese board, was accompanied with delightful assortment of biscuits and usual bites. The three courses were just £28! Incredible value for money.
The venue was spotless and picturesque, it was a wonderful atmosphere and ambience with the perfect 20/30s theme. It was a classic movie setting.
To top it off, we were served by a delightful young lady named Grace who was very professional, courteous and welcoming.
An all round perfect lunch!

We visited for drinks on Christmas Eve and New Years' eve with family and then friends. The atmosphere in The Grand was great. The staff are helpful and friendly. It's worth reserving a table if you can. It gets busy.

Love love love. Cannot wait for the sky bar opening up. A wonderful place with great staff. A huge selection of drinks and cocktails. Staff are friendly attentive and welcoming. A good selection of nibbles and eating outside as well. Beautiful art deco style. They have really brought the whole place to life again. I cannot wait to see if all finish in the summer. The northern part of Southport not really becoming the place to go now.

Southport u3a held our Coronation Tea Party here in the Princess Grace suite & it was fabulous, gorgeous location, delicious food & the staff were amazing, cheerful, friendly so helpful, nothing too much trouble. Everyone had a wonderful time & we shall be definitely going back. The Grand is absolutely the best venue in Southport for an event.

Sunday roast was very good. Service was excellent. Decor is nice. I would go back again. Atmosphere was lacking on the day I went as wasn't busy

Visited for a couple of rounds of drinks at the ground floor level 'Chloe's Piano Bar' and was really impressed with decor, fixtures and fittings.
Upmarket vibe, taking you back to another era, and it's done very tastefully too.
Huge wine selection as well as plenty of whiskies, gins and cocktails.
Will have to return for food and report back 😀

I have been a number of times to the Grand and Harry’s Bar, and every single occasion, the service, food, and decor has been spot on. It is one of the few restaurants I have been to, where the seasoning of the food is absolutely perfect. It really is outstanding quality. Today we had the Sunday Lunch Menu, and were served by Grace, who was friendly, professional, and attentive. The Grand is fine dining at its best, with great value for money. A three course meal was only £28. My brother had the Sunday roast, and the meat was cooked to his taste perfectly. He said it is the best roast beef he’s ever had, and he’s had the pleasure of dining at some of the world’s best restaurants
