Stopped by the Gun Hill Beach Kiosk in Southwold and was really impressed! The staff were super friendly and helpful. We tried the coffee and some bacon rolls which were just perfect, and the millionaire shortbread and coconut cherry slice were good too. Great spot for a quick tasty bite with a lovely view. Definitely worth a visit if you’re nearby!
Breezy day but a lovely cuppa kept us going - so pleased it was still open 👌☺️
Regular stop for coffee when we stay in Southwold, watching the world and their dogs walk by on the beach. Beware the iffy wifi- come prepared with cash in case the card machine doesn’t connect. Service was very slow on our visit outside of high season, staff were a bit stressed. Have been coming to Southwold for many years, and always stop off for a coffee, but for the past couple of years the service at the kiosk hasn’t been great, staff have been a bit offhand with customers and the seating has gradually got older and wobblier.
Was very busy, got our order wrong so had to remake it, (cappuccino and gave us a drink for a dog…. A puppaccino 😂🫣) easily rectified
Not 5 stars as the pictures of the soft serve ice cream all the kids chose, to then be told is out of order, stick a sticker saying that on all the pics instead of just the 1 beside the till.

I just had a coffee at the beach cafe, very nice. Lovely service and great location. Dog friendly and nice to meet and chat to other people there.
Dog friendly. Good food & drinks for reasonable prices. Unlike most beach side cafes, it's even open in the winter.
It may have been just above freezing but, this little spot does the best bacon and egg rolls and excellent coffee served mere feet from the sea.
Great location, good selection of drinks & snacks/ sweets & ice cream.
We had 3 hot chocolate drinks, which were well received.
It's not an atmospheric place, you queue & either sit on bench sets or wherever.
A great asset for visitors.
Not overly expensive for a lovely place to 'refuel' when you're on the beach....Their cakes are amazing and filling and highly recommended
