Great beer good service , out side garden area at the back , band on when we were there fantastic day in the sun,we have also been for Sunday dinner also very good ,
Visited here for dinner on a Wednesday evening. We were lucky to get the only table that wasn't reserved. This shows how popular it is. The food was excellent and the staff, including the ex owner who was in to help cover staff holidays, were exceptional. I would recommend this place to anyone visiting the area like we were.
Stopped off on way through for lunch. The food was superb, I had Nelson pie. As someone else stated probably best pub pie I have ever had. Extremely friendly and accommodating. Beer looked ok but I was driving

Friendly small town pub, good food and service
First visit to this warm and friendly pub, food was excellent. Homemade food which is piping hot and portion size excellent, can recommend the pie it was as big as my head 😆 …
