We chose Bar Meze for lunch when we visited St Albans for old times' sake. Great food, friendly and welcoming service, and could only have been improved if we hadn't been driving and could have enjoyed a bottle of wine with our meal. Thoroughly recommended.

We attended a wedding ceremony and the bride and groom picked Bar Meze as the revenue. It was - fantastic. The food, the staff and the service were simply magnificent. Would highly recommend!

Visited here 2 nights ago and the food and service was amazing. We had the swordfish & chicken with rice and chips and everything was so pleasant. Would definitely come again, everyone was very friendly - thanks Bar Meze !

Had dinner here last night. Definitely a place to return too! Food was great, had amazing flavours, and when I asked for something chilli, they came back with a great home made sauce. Service was great and efficient.

Had a fantastic meal here. The staff were welcoming, made excellent recommendations from the menu, and accommodated one of our guests with vision and mobility requirements.
The meal was served fast, and the food was delicious. I particularly enjoyed the swordfish skewers and Egyptian parcel. Both of these dishes were suggested to us.
I have always enjoyed Bar Meze, but this visit particularly stood out as exceptional.
