I have used The Ridgeway Fish Bar for many years with my two sons. The staff are really friendly, the food is lovely and reasonably priced given the quality, and the shop is spotless. The standards at this place are "old school" and I would not go anywhere else. Highly recommended
Just bought myself and my mum some medium cod’s from here this evening and was appalled by the amount of batter and lack of cod. Was disgusting and swimming in oil. To be totally honest it was shocking. Wont be buying from here ever again and that’s a shame as I’ve always thought this was the best place for fish and chips in St Albans
The food is delicious and they have an exceptional range of items on the menu for this type of takeaway too - we especially love Vegan Thursdays! The owner is absolutely lovely, and the service is consistently outstanding. Thank you
Ordered through deliveroo, such a smooth experience - called to ask if i can have salt and vinegar, the man on the other side did it no problem. Food was amazing and a special shout out to the young men and women working there

I have been there in person and have had a delivery of fish and chips from Ridgeway Fish and Chips. Both times the quality of the food was excellent and tasty. In person they are very friendly and the premises are extremely clean. Delivery is securely packaged so very reassuring.
