Leafi

We had our team away day at the Leafi Events St Albans yesterday, it was mind blowing. From the time we came in, the Leafi Events team were very welcoming. We had our tea and cake at the magnificient court room, had a tour of the museum and gallery. The whole environent oozed history, it was as we were part of something special and finally had our lunch. The whole Leafi Events team led by the GM made our away day memorable, the customer service was top class and the food, exquisite. We thoroughly enjoyed ourself and we are already planning to go back again. Special thanks to Abi who led the team and made our day special.

I spoke to the manager of Leafi on Saturday 16th March 2019 at the St Albans Town Hall building where the Restaurant by Leafi, Museum & Art Gallery are situated. The manager was very knowledgable about the building and passionate about providing fresh food and serving the best snacks and drinks. Leafi more than compliments the Museum and Art Gallery. I asked the counter staff; where is the sugar? the response was "it's in the courtroom'. Wow. When you go into the courtroom it still looks like a courtroom and although last used in the mid 1960's it could still hold legal trials in this present day as it is so well preserved. Now it is used as a cafe seating area, so once i collected my order i went in to the courtroom and sat down at the bench. It has to be the UK's ultimate coffee shop experience; it is sooo surreal but it is sooo interesting as well as historical. Leafi certainly have trend set with this combination. Absolutely Awesome. Leafi deserve praise because they dared to venture in to the unknown and it works!!! Underneath are the holding cells where the prisoners were taken down from trial and you can still see the dock where the defendants stood and the stairs going down to the cells. You can now visit the cells and see the route the prisoners took. Some of the cells retain prisoner grafiti. My Personal Score is 10/10 & I award Leafi my Gold Star for Excellence.
