Ultra-modern theatre with a variety of spaces for studying and events as well as watching performances. This place hosts all sorts of groups that perform all sorts of shows, from student theatre to film screenings to pantomime. Normally the ice cream shop across the road sets up a stand inside during the intermission!

I have not yet had the opportunity to see a show here, but I can attest to the fact that their very large lobby is a lovely and peaceful place for laptop work and study. Free wifi is available in both the upstairs “study lounge” and the downstairs community lounge as well.
I loved the wide range of offerings mentioned in the season book—can’t wait to see a show here as well!

We went to the Byre to see "Enchanted April" on the second night. First entering the theatre, we had a warm reception. We arrived early, so we went downstairs to enjoy a cocktail. The production was so well done. We really enjoyed the ensemble. Everyone/Everything was excellent.

It's a fabulous building, full of atmosphere, warmand a friendly feel. The stage and theatre is just intimate and perfect. The other event rooms are comfortable too.
